Your tracking data stays on your device

Your habits, quit dates, costs, brain check results, craving logs and notes are saved in your browser's local storage on the device you use. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them and we cannot recover them if you clear your browser data, so use the backup button in Settings.

What we do count

The site counts anonymous events such as "a page was viewed", "a brain check was finished" or "the Pro page was opened", grouped by day. These counts do not include a name, email, device ID, IP address, cookie or test result. The only extra detail kept is the website that linked to us, if any (for example "google.com"). They tell us which features get used.

Payments

If you buy Pro, Stripe handles the payment. Stripe receives your payment details and email under its own privacy policy. Fogless only stores a checkout reference in your browser so it can confirm that your Pro plan is active.

No ads, no selling data

There are no ad trackers on Fogless and we do not sell or share data.

Not medical care

Fogless is a self-tracking tool. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you need help, SAMHSA's National Helpline is free and open 24/7 at 1-800-662-4357. In a crisis, call or text 988.
